my 1st Buttercream + fondant

This cuppies were made for Sherry's friend farewell..Anas. Basically my first cuppies after the class. These cuppies made from a mixture of fondant and buttercream. Sherry was proud of these cuppies. Before these she was known for her supplies of delicious food! ehem!! of course the credit was for me first then her! ha ha.

Bread & Me

This is "Cheese Bun" adopted from Che Mat Gebu Recepi. It was so nice in terms of texture and the taste as well! Everybody in this house loves this bun.

After I tempted the "Roti Naik" from mamafami recipe which was given by my tea tarik buddy..I hooked to baking bread..Well Fadzrina...you were responsible for this, since then I hardly buy bread except for the sandwiches loaf which is once a while..Anyway, I would like to thank you dear for initiating the idea of baking "roti naik".

One day, I was lost in this cyberworld and end up at Che Mat Gebu blog...OMG!!! this guy is so fabulous! not only all the bread recipies but on other dishes as welll...so from there on the rest was history. Posted here were all the breads that I have attempted & the recipes are from CMG or mamafami blogspot. In a way they are just like my cyber sifu!

My 1st Fondant CupCake

This is my 1st attempt of ribbon fondant rosses. Made it special for my dear May Ling who is celebrating her birthday on 22nd April..the same month I attended the class. She was so happy with the cuppies. I used chocolate & strawberry flavor for the base as she likes chocolate & strawberry.

Still need to polish my skilll on handling fondant! Let me tell you..doing this cuppies is very therapeautic to me..Its really free my mind especially when I want to let go my " world"so that I can have a fresh mind and making the right decision when Iam back into my world. As usual these kind of activities allows me to be in my "gua". My friend called "Bukit Jelutong" is my "gua"since I hardly get out from here. He was very right about it! I will try to settle or source anything here before opting other location. Thats me! very the "kg.com"(this term I learned from Kak Jun & Abby Fana , and other few terms which is very useful. Thanks Kak Jun & Abby for sharing this knowledege with me) when comes to driving out! So used to Labuan, hassle free when comes to traffic & clean too!

Decorating class with Kak June

Entah mengapa bila saya melawati blog ini...http://sayasukacupcake.blogspot.com/ hati saya terus terbuka untuk mengikuti kelas beliau. Sedangkan tulah kali pertama saya melawati blog beliau...I love you cuppies design Kak Jun! It was amazing creation...So after communicating through email & sms and able to find date that suits my family schedule of course! 11th April I made a trip to USJ4 after lots lots of persuasian finally my dear hubby...Othman agreed to be my chauffer for the day & took care of the kids as Sherry got to go to school for her Sports Day...Thanks Han!

So Kak Jun, minta izin "cut & paste" gambar ni dari blogspot Kak Jun ya! Sepatutnya dah pergi untuk kelas advance tetapi sampai sekarang ni masa sungguh tak mengizinkan untuk bertandang ke rumah Kak Jun lagi....still waiting for the days but my calendar dont looks like permitting it! Insyaallah one day I will! Pray for me as well ya Kak Jun!

Istimewanya kelas hari tu, rumah Kak Jun dikunjungi selebriti popular, Abby Fana! Rupanya sifu saya ni selebriti yang besar namanya di dunia media. Hanya saya saja yang tidak mengetahui..al-maklum dunia media ini bukanlah dunia saya tapi bangga gituuu!!!

my 1st experience with cuppies & buttercream

Ta da!!!! my 1st cuppiess....semangat sungguh kali nie..No matter what I want to bake Anas Hakim's 2nd birthday cupcake..Actually, deep inside my heart I always wanted to try my hand on decorating cuppies. As usual..other aspects of my life & my world really occupied my schedule..priority for this of course! far at the bottom until the moment came!!...On 27th March, yes! that was the moment where the priority had jumped from the bottom to the top of the list! Finally!!! But Mamafami commented that I was "menggelat" as only 2 colors on my cuppies design...Bukan apa....just to play safe, so that if any disaster it can be touched up easily!! Almaklum...ilmu tu jangan di katakan cetek, malah kontang sama sekali..takut nanti cuppies harijadi Anas Hakim ni datang dari Secret Recipe pulakkk...Tapi anak-anak semua bangga! the mummy baked cupcake for Anas..so Sara Sofia & Amir Hakim already booked their cuppies in advance even though Sara Sofia's birthday will be in September and Amir Hakim will be next year January..Inside my heart " Insyaallahlah anak-anak....I hope this wont be the 1st & the last cuppies"

Hokaido Bread

This bread exist after the 3rd time I made "Roti Naik" . Since the owner is such newbies on this blogging things plus her schedule, even 30hours a day wont be enough for her.....

Me & bread

One day my tea tarik buddy mentioned to me while we were waiting for our daughter out from school that she got "roti naik" in the oven!! Walla!!! dalam hati lamanya aku tak makan roti niee...donkey years Man then the person who always there to bake me "roti naik" had passed away many years ago...

So, when I started craving for something, whatever it takes I will fulfil my craving. Nak tak nak minta jugalah kat sahabat nie resepi roti naik. Dia pun bagilah link..http://mamafami.blogspot.com/search/label/Bread. Even in the cyberworld exist of the 6 degree thingss....he he..I know this lady & always "lepak" at her site but never came across this recipe...

So from there on, the rest was history. Nowdays, my kitchen always has homemade bread & I dont buy bread anymore. The satisfaction of the taste bud is soooo muchh different when comes to homemade bread. No wonder Mamafami love to bake bread & couldn't resist on trying new bread recipe..go mama go.. here comes the 'pengikut setia'!!!
